Raj More is an internationally traveled DJ and is engaged in providing music at high profile Latin Dance Congresses, Festivals, and events. He calls Seattle home, having moved from Baltimore, and is just integrating into the fantastic Seattle dance scene. Now, he is coming to our unique Cleveland Latin Gala this November to share a phenomenal weekend with our dear community.

Gala Events Cleveland is a full-service event planning and design company based out of Cleveland, Ohio. 


GiangNguyen is a Philly-based dancer who has been dancing since she was 8 years old. Before becoming a Latin dancer, she trained extensively in traditional Vietnamese dance, hip-hop, and jazz. In 2018,Giangfell in love with social dancing and the world of Latin dances. Since then, she has won several championships in prestigious regional and international competitions in several divisions for salsa, bachata, and chacha. She loves helping people with the fundamentals of leading and following, body movements, Latin dance techniques, and performance techniques. Drawing from her diverse experience in dance, she enjoys working with people who want to improve their social dancing as well as others training intensively for competitions.

Darlin Garcia is the founder and artistic director ofArtIn Motion Dance & Fitness, and the Art In Motion Latin Dance Company. Born in the Dominican Republic, this energetic dancer, performer, and instructor has gained recognition as one of the top male salsa dancers in the Philadelphia/NJ area. With over twenty one years of experience, Darlin Garcia has taught and performed locally, nationally and internationally in countries like China, France, Panama, Ireland, Trinidad, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Japan, and the United Kingdom.

Darlin holds several World Champion titles in the Competition.World salsa Summit. He also holds several titles throughout the year since 2013 in several divisions including Bachata Teams, Cha Cha Cha, Bachata Classic and more.

Darlin is the 2021 world salsa champion. He and his partner Keila Perez Vega placed 1st in the world in their division. He also placed 1st in the world in the bachata division at the 2013 World Latin Dance Cup. Some of his other accomplishments include 3rd place in the 2006 ESPN World Salsa Championship. He is also featured in the How Philly Moves project where his image is displayed, alongside other talented artists, in a mural located by the Philadelphia Airport. Over the course of his career, he has developed creative techniques as illustrated in his sizzling and up-tempo choreographies.

Darlin’s passion in lifeisto share his gift of dancing with people of all ages, levels and backgrounds. He believes that anyone with a willing attitude can learn how to dance, even if they claim to have two left feet. He recently moved his dance studio from Philadelphia to New Jersey, in hopes to serve thecommunityand bring Latin Dance & Fitness to the South Jersey area. Art in Motion Dance & Fitness, which is located at 5360 Route 42, Turnersville, NJ is a place where all people can come learn, move, grow and express themselves through dance.



Edwin M Ferreras is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic educator of music, dance, and ethnomusicology. Born in 1984 in San Pedro De Macoris, he moved to Washington Heights at a young age. While in New York City, he earned his BA in Music/Dance Education from City College of New York with a secondary concentration in music production. After graduating, Edwin began an international dance and teaching career. Today he works as a Master of Ceremonies, entertainment animator and global teaching artist with his dance partner Dakhóta Romero and their company, Areíto Arts. As a world-class educator, he has taught and trained dancers many artists and instructors around the world; his professional credits as educator and curator include HBO Max Romeo Santos “King of Bachata,” Facebook Global, Youtube Studios, Curriculum Development for CUNY, and teacher training for the NYC Department of Education, City College Dominican Studies Institute, NYU Afro Caribbean studies, Dream Project Bachata Academy in the Dominican Republic and New York. In 2017 Dakhóta and Edwin founded Areíto Arts, an educational dance company, focusing on Afro-Caribbean rhythms and roots. Their aim is to educate students on the history, growth, and development of Afro-Caribbean arts. They are committed to preserving and documenting art forms that they teach. Their work in ethnomusicology emphasizes the indigenous Roots and the African Diaspora, which represents Dakhóta and Edwin’s perspective ancestry. Edwin’s trajectory, including his work with his partner at Areíto Arts, has taken him to dance conferences, music, and dance festivals in 5 continents and 13 countries. Under their brand Areíto Arts, Edwin and Dakhóta have been featured educators at Teacher Training which have professionally developed over 40 school teachers and dance instructors worldwide. They have presented their content at the Museum of New York, Lincoln Center (NYC), Bachata Academy in the Dominican Republic, as well as many Universities on the East Coast. They have also been featured in promo videos for Guinness World Records in the Dominican Republic, Telemundo, Pix11 News, ABC News, and many other news outlets. Their online classes are widely popular, and their music and dance videos have accumulated 65+ million views for their cultural dance videos on social media. Today they continue to travel worldwide, teaching the arts from a cultural context while captivating the world of dance with their innovative music and dance content.


Spice up your dance by adding authentic Island flavor in the form of HIP MOVEMENT!

This workshop is an immersion into the fundamentals of Bachata hip movement. Learn how to execute the hip movement naturally and with respect to the music. You will also learn how to implement the authentic movement when social dancing with a partner.

And yes, hip movement is for ALL genders :)

Melanie Mueller is the co-director of Bachata Fix RD, which was the first dance school in Bayaguana, Dominican Republic.

Melanie, who enjoys visiting the DR to immerse herself in the culture and to dance with the local talent, has taught traditional bachata and merengue since 2017 at major bachata dance festivals throughout the United States.⁣ Melanie truly enjoys sharing her passion for traditional bachata and merengue and the Dominican Culture. She has a warm and humorous approach to teaching with patience while transmitting her grace and skills to everyone in the room.

⁣Some of the festivals include the DC Bachata Congress (DCBX), the Baltimore Salsa and Bachata Congress, the International San Francisco Bachata Festival, For the Love of Bachata Events, Hawaii Bachata Expo, and the Los Angeles Summer Bachata Festival.


Aciela is a Bachata Instructor in Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland area. At an early age she developed a passion for dancing and music, attended a local music school and joined a dance team. Aciela began dancing latin dances in 2011, and her first trip to Dominican Republic had a big influence on her development as a dancer. It was in the Dominican Republic where she met popular artists including Edilio Paredes, Joan Soriano, Ramon Torres, and Joe Veras (to name a few) – and fell in love with Dominican culture and Bachata music. Aciela has traveled the world since then taking classes from international instructors. Aciela has also performed at multiple dance congresses in Los Angeles, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Dallas, Denver, Baltimore and Washington D.C., in different genres of music and dance.

Aciela began teaching Bachata in 2019 after attending teacher training programs with Carlos Cinta (Denver, Colorado). She aspires to create a welcoming and fun atmosphere for her classes, demystifying fundamentals and body movement. Using Bachata as a medium for self-expression and creativity, Aciela is dedicated to helping students find their own voice and style, building confidence, and sparking curiosity in Dominican culture and Latin dances in general.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Yolanda Yessenia Miranda has had over 20+ years of experience in makeup. She feels as an artist, it is crucial to explore ideas continually and think outside the box. With her diverse creative makeup looks her work has been published in magazines multiple times and she continues to impress her creative mind and passion for self expression. Specializing in high fashion photoshoots, creative studio photoshoots, editorial, glamour, Bridal and more. Currently she is WMW’s Cleveland Glamour Director and she’s now teaching makeup courses every month where you learn techniques, tips and trends in tools. She also has her own YouTube channel where she started using her makeup artistry to bring awareness to mental health. She believes when you look beautiful you feel beautiful, and it’s that kind of happiness that she tries to give people everyday.


Raj More is an internationally traveled DJ, and is engaged providing music to many high profile Latin Dance Congresses, Festivals, and events. He calls Seattle home, having moved from Baltimore, and is just integrating into the fantastic Seattle dance scene. He DJs at events with Salsa, Bachata, ChaCha and Merengue, and is pursuing his new found love for Kizomba and Zouk. The full credit goes to his amazing teachers of dance and music. Raj is a proponent of continuous evolution and he believes he is always learning and improving, taking classes for dance, music and DJing. His love for music and dance shows in his selection of music – it has to be utterly danceable, delivering a high quality experience, and must amplify what people enjoy. He also is one of the organizers of the Baltimore Congress, and with the benefit of an incredible group of friends working as a team, has turned it into a very successful event that delivers a complete musical and dance immersion over four days. This dancer-first event delivers 100+ hours of classes, 80+ hours of social dancing, with learning from bootcamp level beginners to the most advanced of dancers. He has DJ’ed at several major events, including Baltimore Congress, LA Salsa Festival, New York Goya International Salsa Congress, Bachata French Kiss (France), Jimmy Anton’s social, NJ Bachata Kizomba, Philadelphia SalsaFest, DCBX, For The Love Of Bachata (Pittsburgh), and many more.
